Thoughts and Prospects of Applying for World Heritage of Si Ku Quan Shu

《四库全书》是迄今为止人类书籍和书籍文化的巨大瑰宝,是文献性质的伟大文化遗产,堪称人类绝无仅有的“书籍长城”。作为文化遗产的《四库全书》在文物一项至少包括纂修文物和书籍文物两类。这两类又由数量庞大、内容丰富的书籍及相关文物构成,堪称多姿多彩。现存文渊阁等,作为清代皇家藏书楼即中国古代国家藏书楼的标志性建筑,具有重要的文化遗产价值。历尽沧桑而幸存下来的《四库全书》及其藏书楼,其重大意义不仅在于见证了一部伟大书籍的命运史,而且见证了一个伟大民族的命运史,同时还说明中华民族不仅是一个能够创造辉煌文化的伟大民族,而且是一个不惜一切代价保护文化遗产的伟大民族。把《四库全书》当作文物、当作文化遗产尝试对它的重新定位,则将带来《四库全书》及其研究的一个新时代。

Si Ku Quan Shu is a great treasure of human books and book culture so far.It is a great cultural heritage of the nature of literature and can be called the unique“Book Great Wall”of human beings.As a cultural heritage,Si Ku Quan Shu includes at least two kinds of Cultural Relics:compiling cultural relics and Book Cultural Relics.These two categories are also composed of a large number of books and related cultural relics,which are colorful.The existing Wenyuange,as a landmark of the Royal Library in Qing Dynasty,is of great cultural heritage value.The great significance of Si Ku Quan Shu and its library,which survived through the vicissitudes,is not only to witness the fate history of a great book,but also to witness the fate history of a great nation.At the same time,it also shows that the Chinese nation is not only a great nation that can create brilliant culture,but also a great nation that protects cultural heritage at all costs.Taking Si Ku Quan Shu as a cultural relic and cultural heritage will bring a new era for its research.
