土地革命战争时期,中国共产党领导的中央苏区医疗卫生工作,从苏区群众切实利益出发,把危害群众生命健康的疾病作为"苏区的一大仇敌",把解决群众的"害病生疮"问题提到苏维埃政府议事日程上,体现了中国共产党真切关心群众、充分相信群众、紧紧依靠群众、放手发动群众、真心服务群众的人民性,赢得了人民群众的拥护支持,促进了中央苏区政权的巩固与发展。当前,全党上下正在开展"不忘初心,牢记使命"主题教育,重温中央苏区医疗卫生工作的实践及其体现的人民性,对于进一步践行初心使命,牢记为民宗旨,坚持以人民为中心的发展理念,坚持人民主体地位,把人民对美好生活的向往作为奋斗目标,扎实推进"健康中国"战略的实施,具有十分重要的借鉴意义。
