Middle East’s Security Challenges and China’s Approaches

2019年,中东是中国同世界交融互动的重要板块。长期以来,中国高度重视中东地区,积极参与中东事务,不断深化同中东国家关系,努力拓展互利共赢合作,切实造福中国和中东双方人民。中东的和平安全、稳定发展是中国的期许所向、利益所在、担当所系。

The Middle East is an important part of China’s interaction with the world.Peace,security,stability and development in the Middle East meet China’s aspirations,interests and responsibilities.At present,the Middle East is far from peaceful,with hotspot issues cropping up one after another,political instability in many countries in the region and outstanding security dilemma.To build security in the Middle East,we need to take fairness and justice as basis,use multilateralism as a platform,foster common development,take comprehensive counter-terrorism as a guarantee,and take the shared future as the ultimate goal.China has always stood with the countries and peoples in the Middle East,and will continue to pursue common,comprehensive,cooperative and sustainable security,actively implement a Chinese approach to address hotspot issues,to play a constructive role in maintaining stability and development in the Middle East and make due contributions to building a world of lasting peace and universal security.
