Pudong’s development and opening up was a major decision made by the CPC Central Committee in the 1990 s.In the past 30 years,Pudong’s economic development has made remarkable achievements,achieved a new leap in economic development,and become a vivid practice of the socialist road with Chinese characteristics.The results of Pudong’s economic development not only reflect the promotion of the region’s own economic development scale,but also,more importantly,the demonstration and driving effect on Shanghai and the whole country.Facing the new requirements from the central government and Shanghai,Pudong,which is in a new historical position,should pay more attention to enhancing the core competitiveness of the region in its future development,continue to lead the city’s national high-quality development,and accelerate its march to the landmark region of global high-quality development.
