The Weakening Tone of the Translation of the Word "Firmly" in the Government’s Work Report

近几年《政府工作报告》中"坚决"的翻译比十多年前更为灵活,语气上表现出了明显的弱化倾向,从翻译规范理论出发,对这种弱化的现象进行解释。

In recent years, the translation of "firmly" in the government’s work report is more flexible than that of more than a decade ago, showing an obvious tendency of weakening in tone.This phenomenon of weakening is explained from the perspective of translation normative theory.
