医学院校研究生医院情景交际英语课程设计

Design and Practice of English Course for Communication in Hospital Context for Postgraduates in Medical Universities

大部分医学院校开设的研究生英语课程缺少专门的职业交际英语,而医学研究生的职业特点要求其具备一定的医院情景下的英语交际能力。本着以学生为中心的教学理念,通过调查问卷方式进行需求分析,设计医学研究生医院情景交际英语课程,确定教学素材、方法、内容和实施步骤,并开展效果评价和满意度调查,总结课程的优势,剖析不足之处,以期为医学院校研究生英语课程的开设提供些许经验。

Despite the absence of English courses for medical occupational purposes for postgraduates in medical universities,it is required by medical postgraduates'occupational characteristics that they should possess English communicative competence in hospital context.According to the student-centered teaching approach and based on the needs analysis through a survey,this paper designed the English course for communication in hospital context,including teaching materials,methods,contents and procedures,conducted an investigation on its effectiveness and students'satisfaction rate,and summarized the advantages and disadvantages of the course,which hopefully could shed some light on the English course construction for postgraduates in medical universities.
