Red Star was the official newspaper of the Central Revolutionary Military Committee during the second domestic revolutionary war,and the only raw material that recorded the Red Army's Long March publicly.Its historical materials were of great value in research on the history of the Long March.This paper introduces briefly the general situation of Red Star,discusses the problems existing in the utilization,and probes into the significance of compiling it.
