七七卢沟桥事变后,日军发动全面侵华战争。京津地区的北京大学、清华大学和南开大学举校南迁,几经辗转,最后在云南昆明创立国立西南联合大学(简称"西南联大")。根据南京国民政府的要求和云南的实际需求,"西南联大"创办国立西南联合大学师范学院(简称"西南联大师范学院")。凭借"西南联大"优秀的师资背景,该院发展迅速。"西南联大师范学院"培养目标明确,实施方案得当,促进了云南基础教育与师范教育的发展。

After the July 7th Lugou Bridge Incident,the Japanese army launched a full-scale war of aggression against China.Peking University,Tsinghua University and Nankai University in the Beijing-Tianjin region moved southward,and finally founded the National Southwest Associated University in Kunming,Yunnan.According to the requirements of the Nanjing National Government and the actual needs of Yunnan,the university founded the Normal College of the National Southwest Associated University.With the excellent faculty and teaching resources,the college developed rapidly.It had a clear training goal and a proper implementation plan,which promoted the development of fundamental education and teacher education in Yunnan.
