Objective To investigagte the effect of modified management of surgical position on prevention of medical instrument-related injury. Methods From March 2018 to March 2019,patients who nderwent robot-assisted radical prostatectomy in our hospital were divided into control group receiving regular management of surgical position and test group receiving modified management. Results In the control group,4 cases of level-1 crush injury were observed in facial region while 1 case of level-1 crush injury was observed in the region of eye and leg respectively. In the test group,no crush injury was observed. The incidence of medical instrument-related pressure ulcer in the two groups indicated statistical significance(χ^2=4.296,P=0.038).Conclusion Modified management of surgical position could reduce medical instrument-related injury during robot-assisted radical prostatectomy.
