Discussion on Solid-liquid Separation in Zirconium Oxychloride

The process of preparing zirconium oxychloride by acid-base method was briefly described.The principles and basic parameters of belt filter,centrifuge and filter-press in solid-liquid separation of zirconium oxychloride industry were introduced.The effects of equipment on product quality and productivity were discussed.The results showed that the quality of products separated by centrifuge was the best when the efficiency was low,the quality of products separated by filter was the worst when the efficiency the highest,the filter press was between these two.The research results can be used in zirconium oxychloride industry.The selection of equipment for solid-liquid separation in production can provide some reference.
