Mao Zedong′s Historical Contribution to the Victory of the Long March

During the Long March,Mao Zedong played a decisive and historical role in saving the Red Army and the Chinese revolution.After the Xiangjiang Campaign,Mao Zedong advocated going westward to Guizhou,to make the Central Red Army safe,to prepare for the Zunyi Conference,to effectively solve military and organizational problems,and then to a series of exquisite military commands after the Zunyi Conference,which enabled the Red Army to break through the enemy′s heavy encirclement.In face of Zhang Guotao′s divisive plot,Mao Zedong insisted on adopting the correct strategy of struggle,laying an important foundation for the successful reunion of the three main forces of the Red Army and the successful end of the Long March.It can be said that the great victory of the Long March can not be separated from Mao Zedong′s excellent military strategic decision-making ability and meticulous ideological and political thinking work and superb political philosophy wisdom.
