He Shengda(贺圣达,1948-2018)was a researcher at the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences and a doctoral tutor at Yunnan University before his death.He was the former vice president of the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences,the vice president of the China Southeast Asian Studies Association,and the vice president of the China Association for the History of Chinese and Foreign Relations,Executive Director of the Chinese Asia-Pacific Society,vice president of the Yunnan Southeast Asian Studies Association,and vice president of the Yunnan Foreign Trade Association.In his nearly 40 years of academic career,He made important contributions to the study of Southeast Asian history in China.
