标准引领与价值提升——美国《21世纪外语学习标准》对民族地区大学英语教学的启示

Standard Guiding and Value Enhancement——Lessons Learned from US’s “21st Century Foreign Language Learning Standards” on College English Teaching in Ethnic Areas

摘要 在全球化背景下,世界各国纷纷提出外语教育改革举措,但我国外语教育改革略显滞后,民族地区尤为突出。美国《21世纪外语学习标准》改变了过去以外语知识作为核心的教学理念,突出外语学习中全球化视野、交际能力的培养和跨文化学习能力的养成,这对我国民族地区大学英语教学改革有较强的启发和借鉴意义。民族地区大学外语教学要及时更新教学观念,树立全球化外语教学意识;强化语言交际的目标与能力,加强文化沟通和对比;培养学生全球化的视野,打造复合型国际人才,从而实现标准引领下民族地区大学英语教学的价值提升。 Under globalization,different countries have proposed their individual education reforms.China however lags behind in education reform with even worsened situation in ethnic regions.The US’s"21 st Century Foreign Language Learning Standards"has shifted its previous teaching mentality from focusing on foreign language knowledge towards global vision,and cultivation of communicating ability,and training for cross cultural learning ability.This could provides references for college English teaching reform in ethnic regions.Thus,universities and colleges in ethnic regions should make timely readjustment of their teaching mentality while set up globalized foreign language teaching perspective;enhance communicating skill,cultural exchange and comparison;cultivate students’global vision so as to achieve progress in college English teaching in ethnic areas.
