Objective:To explore clinical effects of Xiaochaihu decoction in treatment post-stroke vertigo.Methods:90 patients with post-stroke vertigo were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into control group and observation group by using the random number table method,45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Difenidol tablets, while the observation group was treated with Xiaochaihu decoction. The treatment effect, blood viscosity and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate in the observation group was 95.56%,which was significantly higher than 80.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the blood viscosity between the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05).However,after the treatment, the levels of blood viscosity of the two groups was lower than those before the treatment, that of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 6.67%,which was significantly lower than 22.22%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:For the patients with post-stroke vertigo,Xiaochaihu decoction can improve the total effective rate and reduce the blood viscosity and the incidence of adverse reactions. Moreover,it is superior to Difenidol tablets.
