摘要
文章利用网络调查法和内容分析法,对国外50所iSchools院校2014-2018年毕业生的就业领域、就业单位、就业岗位、就业率等数据进行分析。研究发现:iSchools院校毕业生的就业领域广泛且不断扩展,与在校所学专业密切相关;就业单位集中在公共事业和私人企业单位,不同的岗位对工作内容、职责要求相差较大;美国iSchools毕业生就业率总体呈平稳上升态势,薪资整体处于中上水平,加拿大iSchools毕业生就业率相差较大;不同院校、不同专业的毕业生薪资之间存在较大差别;私营企业的就业岗位薪资较高,公共图书馆薪资较低。
The paper aims to study the employment characteristics of iSchools professional graduates in library,archives and information science,and provide effective feedback for the reform and innovation of education.The paper used the web site survey and content analysis methods.By logging on iSchools homepages,collect figures on employment field,employment unit,job title,employment rate,salary etc.,for detailed analysis.The paper gets some findings:The employment fields of graduates are extensive and expanding,and closely related to the majors in the school;the employment units are concentrated in public utilities and private enterprise units,but different positions have different work content and quite different requirements.The employment rate of the US iSchools is generally rising steadily and salary is the middle and upper levels;the employment rate of Canadian iSchools is very different and so are the salary levels for graduates from different universities and different majors;Private enterprises pay higher salary than public libraries.
