摘要
缩小城乡居民消费差距是推动中国经济高质量发展的内在要求,物流业作为国民经济的重要产业和新的经济增长点,对于缩小城乡居民消费差距的影响值得关注。在系统阐述物流业发展对城乡居民消费影响机理的基础上,基于中国2001-2016年31个省份的面板数据,运用双向固定效应模型实证检验了物流业发展对城乡居民消费的影响。研究发现,物流业发展水平是影响城乡居民消费的重要因素,在较大程度上缩小了城乡居民消费差距。为此,必须立足当前我国物流业发展的痛点和堵点,有针对性地采取措施大力提高物流业发展水平,进一步发挥好物流业缩小城乡居民消费差距的作用。
Reducing the consumption gap between urban and rural residents is an inherent requirement to promote the high quality of China’s economic development. As an important industry and a new economic growth point, the influence of the logistics industry on narrowing the consumption gap between urban and rural residents is worthy of more attention. On the basis of systematically explaining the influence mechanism of the development of logistics industry on the consumption of urban and rural residents, in view of the panel data of 31 provinces in China from the year 2001 to 2016, this paper empirically tests the impact of logistics development on the consumption of urban and rural residents by two-way fixed effect model. The study finds that the development level of the logistics industry is an important factor affecting the consumption of urban and rural residents, and the consumption gap between urban and rural residents has been narrowed to a large extent. To this end, according to the pain points and blocking points of the development of China’s logistics industry, measures must be taken to vigorously improve the development level of the logistics industry, and to further play the role of the logistics industry on narrowing the consumption gap between urban and rural residents.
