An introduction was made on the application of UAV in hydrological flow measuring,topographic survey,disaster investigation and informatization management,based on which the author discussed the rapid and efficient advantages of UAV for hydrological measuring,proposed to list UAV as modern hydrologic device,so as to improve the accuracy and timeliness of hydrologic measuring and disaster information acquisition.
