Discussion on Patent System and Innovation Protection from the Event of Remdesivir Patent Application

加快建设创新型国家,保护创新是核心,保护知识产权就是保护创新。专利制度通过保护专利申请人和专利权人的合法权益,促进专利技术公开和信息交流与共享,提高社会的整体创新能力,实现社会整体效益最大化。我国专利制度的实施极大地促进了技术进步和创新能力提升,为社会发展做出了巨大贡献。但目前知识产权保护意识作为一种社会意识还不成熟,有待加强。

Protection of innovation is a key to build an innovative country.If intellectual property rights are protected,innovation is thus protected.In order to benefit the society mostly and improve its innovative ability,the patent system protects the legitimate rights and interests of patent applicants and patentees,and encourages them to disclose their creative arts,exchange and share the technical information.The implementation of patent system in China has greatly promoted technological progress,creative ability,and social development.However,as a kind of social consciousness,the consciousness of intellectual property protection is not mature enough and needs to be strengthened at present.
