Tao Changkun continued Lu Xu’s academic tradition in his Novel Writing New Theory,and made a diversified exposition of novels at home and abroad.The author’s view is based on the close reading of the texts,paying special attention to those texts that challenge the strangeness,and making an in-depth analysis of the possibility of the writer’s subject consciousness.The book emphasizes the significance of Chinese experience and shows a deep understanding in the analysis of Cao Xueqin,Lu Xun and Mo Yan.This way of comprehending the novel gives readers a lot of inspiration.
