Ten Notes on Old Chinese Phonology

十则札记,根据不同材料所反映出来的上古音信息,依次讨论了"窈窕"、"存"、"二"、"貳"、"黽"及相关诸字、"竄"等字的归部问题,《论语·微子》周之八士取名,《荀子·儒效》"武王之诛纣也……"句的语音技巧,《荀子·解蔽》"貳则疑惑",《楚辞·卜居》"粟斯"的校勘与语音技巧,里耶秦简所反映的异读别义,并从不同的角度挖掘这些材料在上古音研究中的作用和意义。

This article consists of ten notes discussing old Chinese phonological information based on different materials.The functions and significances of these materials in old Chinese phonological studies were analyzed.The main topics are as below: which rhyme groups that yǎotiǎo (窈窕),cún (存),èr (二)and èr (貳),mǐn (黽) with some related words and cuàn (竄) should be assigned to;the naming of eight persons of Zhou Dynasty in Wēizǐ of Lúnyǔ (论语·微子);the phonetical skills of wǔ wáng zhī zhū zhòu yě (武王之诛纣也) in Rúxiào of Xúnzǐ (荀子·儒效);the collocation and phonetical skills of èr zé yíhuò (貳则疑惑) in Jiěbì of Xúnzǐ (荀子·解蔽) and sù sī (粟斯) in Bǔjū of Chǔcí (楚辞·卜居);the collocations of pronunciation and meaning reflected in Lǐyē Qínjiǎn (里耶秦简) .
