大数据视域下翻译学数字人文研究

Digital Humanity Research of Translation Studies from the Perspective of Big Data

数字化时代的到来,使大数据技术和思维开始应用于翻译学研究,助推其迈向了新餉研究范式。与传统翻译学研究相比较,大数据视阈下的翻译学研究呼应了人文学科数字化研究的热潮,呈现出定量化、跨学科、大视野和实证性的特点。学界在更多地关注语料库翻译研究外,还应关注翻译研究的发展趋势:翻译研究从文本细读向文本远读的过渡以及两者结合的可能性;学界借助数字技术在翻译的空间研究方面有更多作为;应进一步扩大翻译学研究视野,更加注重媒介之间的融通和转换。与此同时,在翻译学数字化研究的进程中,也应注意数字技术和大数据研究的局限性。

With the advent of the digital age,big data technology and thinking have begun to be applied to translation studies,which are thus being pushed towards a new paradigm.Compared with traditional translation studies,translation studies from the perspective of big data which echoes the upsurge of digital studies in humanities are characterized by quantification,interdisciplinarity,broad vision and empiricism.In addition to corpus-based translation studies,the academic community should also pay attention to the following possible trends in translation studies:first,the transition from close reading to remote reading and the possibility of integrating them;second,more contributions could be made to the spatial study of translation by means of digital technology;third,the horizon of translation studies should be further expanded and more attention be paid to media integration and transformation.Meanwhile,in the process of digitalization of translation studies,we should also be alert to the limitations of digital technology and big data research.
