摘要
USMLE是美国执业医师资格考试,其中第二阶段CS主要是针对用英语采集病史、医患沟通技巧及病历书写能力的考核。PBL教学是基于问题导向的教学方法,在今年临床医学的教学工作中广泛推广。由于USMLE CS备考教材通常由医学病例组成,并且涵盖最基础的问诊查体写病历的指导,具有内容精简,要点全面,实用性强等特点。故将这些教材用于临床见习的PBL教学中,有助于扩宽教师备课思路,提高师生英文水平,并且为有备考USMLE打算的医学生打下基础。此外,随着国际化进程,越来越多的医学生在临床学习阶段与今后工作中都有英语病例交流汇报的机会。因此,在临床见习教学的初始阶段通过结合USMLE教材有助于提高这些学生的英文病例汇报能力。本文浅谈了USMLE CS教材对临床见习教学的帮助,以及如何运用这些教材取得良好的PBL教学效果。
USMLE is the American medical practitioner qualification examination,in which the second stage of CS is mainly for the collection of medical history in English,doctor-patient communication skills and the ability to write medical records.PBL is a problem-oriented teaching method,which has been widely used in contemporary clinical medical education.As the USMLE CS textbook is usually composed of medical cases and covers the most basic guidance of medical examination,physical examination and medical record writing.It obtains characteristics of concise content,comprehensive key points and strong practicability.Therefore,the utilization of these textbooks in PBL teaching of clinical observation can help teachers'lesson preparation,improve the English proficiency of teachers and students,and lay a solid foundation for medical students who intend to prepare for USMLE.This paper discusses the benefits of USMLE CS teaching materials for clinical practice teaching help,and how to use these materials to achieve good PBL teaching effect.
