"Inside" and "Outside": The Path of Disciplinary Construction of World-class Private Universities with Chinese Characteristics

中国特色世界一流民办高校学科建设,"内"与"外"如同"车之两轮、人之两腿",都是必不可少的建设路径。"内"是高校学科建设驱动力;"外"是高校学科建设助推力;驱动力与助推力结合是中国特色世界一流民办高校学科建设必由之路。建设中国特色世界一流民办高校学科既要从民办高校学科建设内部着手,同时也需要积极争取外部一切条件及资源,从中国民办高校学科建设内部与外部两方面开展深入研究,探索中国特色世界一流民办高校学科建设之路,以期对当前民办高校学科建设提供参考。

For the world’s first-class private colleges with Chinese characteristics, "inside" and "outside" are like "two wheels of a car and two legs of a person", which are all essential construction paths. "Inside" is the driving force for the discipline construction of the world-class private universities with Chinese characteristics;"outside" is the driving force for the discipline construction of the world-class private universities with Chinese characteristics;the combination of driving force from inside and outside is the only way for the discipline construction of world-class private universities with Chinese characteristics. To build a world-class private university with Chinese characteristics, we must start from the internal construction of private universities, and we must actively strive for all external conditions and resources, conduct in-depth research from the internal and external aspects of the discipline construction of Chinese universities, and explore the world-class private sector with Chinese characteristics. The present paper explores the road of discipline construction in colleges and universities, with a view to providing reference for the current discipline construction of world-class private universities with Chinese characteristics.
