论健身气功图书“走出去”中中医术语翻译的文化传真——以《五禽戏》英译为中心的考量

On Cultural Facsimile of TCM Terminology Translation in the “Going Out”of Chinese Health Qigong Books: a Case Study of English Translation of Wuqinxi

健身气功图书的外译出版是助推健身气功走出去的重要手段。健身气功中蕴含着丰富的中医文化信息,健身气功书籍中的中医术语翻译文化传真效度如何很大程度上决定着健身气功图书翻译的成败。编译出版者通过音译、音译加注释、意译、意译加注释、直译、插图等策略一定程度上实现了译文文本的文化传真,但也存在译文释义错误、注而未达、重复注释、参见阙如等亟待解决的问题。译者应在参阅权威资料及咨询专家的基础上,精准把握文化内涵,合理使用翻译策略,最大限度实现文化传真的翻译目的。

The translation and publication of Chinese Health Qigong books is an important way to promote health Qigong going out.Health Qigong contains abundant information of traditional Chinese medicine culture.To a great extent,the validity of the translation of traditional Chinese medicine terms in health Qigong books determines the success or failure of the translation of health Qigong books.Transliteration,transliteration plus annotation,free translation,free translation plus annotation,literal translation,illustration and other strategies are adopted by compilers and publishers to achieve cultural facsimile of the translated text.However,there are still some problems to be solved urgently,such as errors in interpretation,inadequate annotation,repeated annotation and lack of reference.On the basis of referring to authoritative materials and consulting experts,translators should accurately grasp the cultural connotation,rationally use strategies,and maximize the cultural facsimile of the TCM terminology.
