The terminology definition and test methodology of nonvolatile matters,volatile matters,organic volatile matters,volatile organic compounds,total volatile organic compounds and others was introduced.Based on the analytical research on the relevant detection standards of volatile organic compounds in ambient air conditions,materials and vehicle parts,the precautions for detecting volatile organic compounds in ambient air conditions,materials and vehicle parts were listed and suggestions to improve the existing standards were proposed.
