The Construction and Deconstruction of the Directional Thinking Mode in Cultural Cognition —From the Perspective of the Chinese Ethnic Culture Paradigm

定向思维模式的建构与解构实际上反映出认知结构的二重性特征,两者在文化认知活动中可互为挹注共存于对立统一关系里。因此,对中国少数民族文化范式的研究,不仅要重视建构之功能催生的符号化文化构成,还应关注解构之功能显现的非常见的文化元素。同时,只有弄清楚定向思维模式的建构与解构在文化认知中的意涵,才能明确定向思维模式的"趋向"和"专注"特点以及"惰化"和"孤立"倾向,从而为牵及民族文化事项的认知固化与迁移提供理论工具并用以指导多元文化实践。

thinking,as long as its existing forms of concept,judgment,and reasoning,etc.are confined to a transcendental inertia identification,then thinking has the corresponding mode of operation–that is,the empirical directional thinking mode.Based on the cognitive duality of the directional thinking mode,we intend to explore the construction and deconstruction of the directional thinking mode in the domain of Chinese ethnic culture.The so-called"duality"here refers to the fact that one thing has two attributes at the same time.Embedding this concept into the theoretical thinking of directional thinking mode can reveal the duality of its cognitive process.One is constructive:the cognitive environment of the directional thinking mode is not absolutely accidental and circuitous,and can still correctly reflect the original characteristics of objective world to a large extent.It is precisely because of some"practical experience"that coincides with the logical development of things that the subconscious of the human brain makes a relatively solid choice in the repeated verification of decision-making behavior,and then translates it into a certain subjective thought and strategy.The other one is the nonconstructive:the directional thinking mode is formed on the basis of subjective cognitive judgment,and it is bound to provide a breeding ground for the"dogmatism"of self-qualification.This makes the subject about which one is thinking inadvertently fall into the stereotype of the programmed analytical method,and is connected with some presuppositioned conditions that are difficult to change.As a result,the passive mode of execution is adopted because it is divorced from the development track of things.Therefore,from the perspective of philosophical dialectics,we should not only recognize the constructional ability of the directional thinking mode with the initial principle of creation,and even the function of truth,but also not deny that inherent in the directional thinking mode is a lack of multidimensional,difference,and innovative cognitive endowment–that is,it is not constructive.1.The connotation of theconstruction of the directional thinking mode in cultural cognition The constructive nature of the duality mentioned above provides a theoretical basis for the construction of related directional thinking patterns.Therefore,the significance of construction in cultural cognition lies in highlighting the constructive"positive transfer effect(positive causal reaction)"brought about by the constructive structure of national culture(the organic connection of material,institutional,and spiritual levels),in order to support the continuation and development of typical national cultural styles with the help of the"trend"and"focus",characteristics of directional thinking mode.This then urges people to consciously maintain and promote the"symbolic"national cultural traditions.1)The influence of trend characteristics on cultural cognition The shaping of cultural style is,first of all,a process of evaluation of values,and the results of thinking certification are bound to be reflected in cultural practice in order to determine the necessary or accidental attributes of humanized behavior.If the behavior can effectively maintain the cumulative effect of cultural elements and the traceable characteristics of cultural origin,it means that it belongs to the non-accidental behavior under the influence of a trend force.And the inertia superimposed,definitely inevitable behavior can create the representative cultural form in line with the mainstream development direction of things.That is to say,the typical cultural style is usually the inevitable humanistic achievement in the social order.Otherwise,it is difficult to describe the unique tradition of various ethnic groups in their fragmented cultural memory and cultural signs.The trend characteristics of the directional thinking mode are related to the situational induction and value judgment ability of the cognitive subject.It is shown that the thinking form will eventually form a certain set of ideas under the traction of the trend force,and frame the type of cultural paradigm from the value orientation.And the typification of the cultural paradigm is a universal result in line with the trend.2)The influence of focus on cultural cognition If the power of self-management can evolve into a normal thinking management mechanism,it means that the focus of directional thinking mode has a consistent and oriented effect.Then,in response to the cognitive practice in the field of national culture,the cultivation of individualized national consciousness requires applicable obsession in order to construct a unique national endowment;otherwise,the marked meaning covered in the cultural paradigm will lose its"typical"reference function.Therefore,the humanistic phenomenon that conveys core values and cultural consciousness can be called"representative cultural form."The focus characteristics based on the directional thinking mode are related to the determination of the cognitive subject and the ability to achieve the goal,which is enough to affect the timely state of things under the action of the relevant stability factors.Therefore,under the guidance of concentration,the form of thinking can be solidified into a persistent cognitive strategy and influence the development process of the cultural paradigm from the dynamic force.And,the symbolization of the cultural paradigm is only a continuous superposition of fixed effects.2.The connotation of thedeconstruction of directional thinking mode in cultural cognition The significance of deconstruction in cultural cognition lies in revealing the"negative transfer effect"(negative causal reaction)caused by the nonconstructive cultural structure.The purpose of deconstruction is to restrain the"inertia"(conservative strategy adopted to prevent external disturbance)and the tendency of"isolation"of directional thinking mode in the multicultural environment so as to embrace the appeal of survival and equality of atypical ethnic-cultural forms,and then actively explore the cultural elements of"hidden mystery."Therefore,the national cultural paradigm or cultural elements on the edge of cognition may not be fettered by the metaphysical concept,presenting neither superiority nor inferiority in the quality and nature of different cultures.1)The Inertia tendency in controlled-releasing culture cognition The inertia tendency of the directional thinking mode is an extension of masking consciousness in customary cognition,which usually implies those mediocre and old ways that are not easy to change,and is prepared to be used to passively defend against the disturbance of secondary factors to primary factors.In order to slow down the irrational expansion of this tendency,it is necessary to deconstruct the directional thinking mode,which is the growing field of inertia tendency.From the perspective of deconstructionism,we can find that there is also the deconstructing mechanism of directional thinking mode in the cultural paradigm of ethnic minorities,and there is also the slow release result of the inertia tendency of directional thinking mode.This mechanism can separate the traditional concepts of metaphysics and affect the coexistence relationship between the relevant elements.2)The tendency of isolation in delayedcultural cognition The isolation tendency of directional thinking mode is opposite to the universal connection and is deposited in conservative consciousness.Its main function is to close the open space of thinking in order to achieve an independent state without dependence.If we want to delay the spread and growth of the tendency,we should make the necessary separation of it in order to seek the reverse accumulation cognition within the scope of the relevant consciousness.Still,from the perspective of deconstructionism,we can observe that some cultural closure behaviors of ethnic minorities have undergone subtle changes in the intersectional relationship between humankind and nature,which makes the isolation tendency of the directional thinking mode deflect to a certain extent.
