This paper introduces the mechanism and safety of various whitening active ingredients in cosmetics,and summarizes different types of whitening substances commonly used in cosmetics and their principles of removing freckles.Besides,this paper introduces the current detection methods for these whitening active ingredients,and provides a comprehensive evaluation of the future development trend of the detection method.I hope that this paper can help promote the future research of the detection method of various whitening active ingredients in cosmetics.
