Urticaria in pregnancy and lactation is one of common dermatoses occurring during these period.The etiology and mechanisms of urticaria is very complicated.However,there are special cause and clinical characters of urticaria in pregnancy and lactation.Effect and safety of medications should both be considered.This paper reviews the literature on etiology,mechanisms,diagnosis and treatment of urticaria in pregnancy and lactation.
