岳麓书院祭祀空间、仪式及其教化功能

The Sacrificial Space, Ceremony and Its Educational Function of Yuelu Academy

祭祀是书院办学的三大规制之一。岳麓书院作为古代四大书院之首,其祭祀场所丰富,祭祀规模宏大。梳理岳麓书院祭祀空间的变化及其祭祀之程式发现,岳麓书院祭祀空间井然有序,符合儒家礼制;所祀之人依时而增,日趋官学化。其教化功能在于:祭以学礼,立志明心;示教于生,经世济用;彰示道统,传学湖湘;开化民众,移风易俗。

Sacrifice is one of the three major regulations for running a academy.As the first of the four ancient academies,Yuelu Academy is rich in Sacrifice ritual sites and grand in ritual scale.Through analyzing the changes in the Sacrifice space as well as the forms of Yuelu Academy,the paper finds that the ritual space of Yuelu Academy was in order and conformed to the Confucian ritual system;the people who were sacrificed increased in time and became more official.Its educational functions were:offering sacrifices to the rituals,determining to be clear-minded;teaching in the life,administrating the world;highlighting the Tao,passing the culture of Hunan;cultivating people,and changing the customs.
