The important task of mathematical teaching is to help middle and primary school students to construct and develop number sense.This thesis discusses the core competence of number sense in four main aspects including its connotation,research status,development concept and development strategies based on the teaching concept of“Process→Generation”,aiming to promote the core competencies in mathematics of middle and primary school students with the development of number sense.
