Pesticides are important strategic materials for the healthy and stable development of the national economy because it plays an important role in agriculture security,food security,and environmental and ecological security.With the increasing awareness of environmental protection and strict registration of pesticides,the discovery of new pesticides is becoming more and more difficult and costly.To ensure the new pesticide varieties were competitive in the market,stable intellectual property was the basic prerequisite.Therefore,in the process of new pesticide discovery,it was very important to do patent literature searching.Therefore,based on the characteristics of pesticide patent literature,the searching methods of pesticide patent literature were summarized with some representative examples illustration.
