Wheel hub is the key part of truck chassis traveling system,which is a typical auto parts casting.It has a large market demand and high product quality requirements.This paper introduces several main production methods of truck wheel hub,and analyzes the technological advantages and limitations of clay sand manual modeling,micro-shock compaction modeling,horizontal non-box automatic modeling,static automatic modeling and iron mold sand coating technology.It is pointed out that the development of all kinds of technology with obvious characteristics of times is based on the need of product quality improvement,the promotion of industry standard development,the breakthrough of casting technology and the development of equipment technology.
