The status of research on fowlpox virus-based vaccines against respiratory viruses

呼吸道病毒通常引起呼吸道的相关感染,研制疫苗防治该类疾病是当前研究的热点之一。鸡痘病毒可诱导感染的宿主产生细胞、体液和粘膜免疫应答,是一种理想的疫苗载体,可表达呼吸道病毒的多种蛋白。这些呼吸道病毒包括禽流感病毒、新城疫病毒、火鸡鼻支气管肺病毒、出血性肠炎病毒和传染性支气管炎病毒等,本文综述以鸡痘病毒为传递载体的呼吸道病毒疫苗的研制现状。

Respiratory viruses can cause many types of respiratory infections.Attention has recently focused on the control of these viruses with vaccines.Fowlpox virus can induce cellular,humoral,and mucosal immune responses in a host,so it may be an ideal vaccine vector for expressing many proteins of these viruses.These viruses include avian influ-enza virus,Newcastle disease virus,turkey rhinotracheitis pneumovirus,hemorrhagic enteritis virus,and infectious bron-chitis virus.The review outlines the status of research on fowlpox virus based vaccines against respiratory viruses.
