Trauma narration is a very important constituent part in Milan Kundera’s novels. The author perfectly presents the various traumas suffered by the characters in front of readers through the comprehensive application of narrative strategies such as body, dream and citation. As far as the textual construction, trauma narration plays a positive role in three aspects like displaying the characteristics of the characters, highlighting the theme of the novel and provoking philosophical thinking. Milan Kundera’s novels are taken as the object of study, the presentation strategy of trauma narration is thoroughly analyzed.
