理雅各英译《中国经典》再版“他序”论略

Introducing Allographic Prefaces in the Reprinted Editions of Legge’s Chinese Classics

理雅各《中国经典》英译系列不断再版,原版译介副文本组成有所调变。1960港大版与2011华师大版中出现了“他序”,体现的是译介领域专业读者的接受实况,新增译介副文本与原版译者“自序”形成主客观连续统一体关系,彰显并推动着理雅各中国典籍英译系列经典的跨时空接受与传播。

Legge’s English version of Chinese Classics have been constantly reprinted with dynamic paratexts ever since its original publication.The 1960 edition of Hong Kong University and that of East China Normal University in 2011 are recognizably representative for their allographic devices,which are significant highlights in presenting the expertise assessments and consequentially qualify as the transformative driving force in the reception and promotion of the classical translations in the time-and-space-relevant contexts.
