从出版史角度看南宋禅僧语录刊刻之意义

On the Significance ofZen Monks’ Citations Recording of Southern Song Dynasty from Perspective of Publishing History

南宋时期,有不少禅僧语录被刊刻出版。这些语录都是以“白话”的形式出版,形成了史上第一次“白话出版”的浪潮。在此之前白话可以说是庶民世界的书写语言,大量的禅僧语录这种白话著作的公开出版,使白话从一般的书写语言升级为一种极为重要的出版语言,也即意味着庶民世界的价值首次被发现和认可,为后世通俗文学的繁荣做了思想上的重要铺垫。

In the Southern Song dynasty,many Zen monks’citations were published.All these citations came out in the“vernacular”language style,thus forming the first wave of“vernacular publishing”in history.The vernacular language used to be the written language of the average people before.A large number of Zen monks’published citations helped the vernacular language to rise from an ordinary writing language to a very essential publication one,which means that the value of the common world has been discovered and recognized for the first time.It paves the way for the prosperity of popular literature later in ideology.
