Mr.Chair,Colleagues,I am delighted to join you at the 14th ASEM Foreign Ministers,Meeting.Let me first thank our host Spain for its thoughtful arrangements for our meeting.We live in a world of profound changes unseen in a century.The rise of unilateralism is undercutting international rules and rule of law.The spread of protectionism is weighing down global growth.Rampant power politics is threatening world peace and stability.Accounting for nearly 60 percent of the world's population and GDP,we as Asian and European countries have,for years,been both beneficiaries and upholders of multilateralism.To adhere to multilateralism has long been a shared commitment and collective action of our leaders.
主席先生,各位同事:很高兴出席第十四届亚欧外长会议,感谢东道主西班牙为这次亚欧外长会议所做的周到安排。当今世界正经历百年未有之大变局。单边主义愈演愈烈,冲击国际规则法治。保护主义持续蔓延,拖累世界经济增长。强权政治四处横行,威胁世界和平稳定。亚欧国家代表着近六成的世界人口和世界经济总量。
