摘要
班级规模是教育投入的一个重要因素,已有研究发现班级规模对以学生成绩为代表的认知能力存在显著影响,但对于班级规模对学生非认知能力的影响进行探索的研究则较为缺乏。基于CEPS2013-2014年的实证研究发现,班级规模对学生非认知能力仅在某些维度存在显著性影响:以“中班”(班级规模为40-58人的班级)为参照组的准实验研究的估计结果显示,当干预为“学生进入小班”(班级规模为40人及以下的班级)时,班级规模仅对学生的“情绪控制”具有显著的正向效应;当干预为“学生进入大班”(班级规模为58人以上的班级)时,班级规模仅对学生的“毅力”与“创造性思维”具有显著的正向效应。
Class size is an important factor in educational investment.Many studies have found that class size has an significant impact on students’cognitive abilities represented by their performance.However,there is a lack of researches on the impact of class size on students’non-cognitive abilities.Empirical research based on CEPS(2013-2014)shows that class size has a significant impact on students’non-cognitive abilities only in some dimensions:the estimated results of quasi-experimental study with“middle class”(40-58 students)as control group shows that when the experimental intervention is“small class”(40 students and below),class size only has a significant positive intervention effect on students’“emotional control”;when the experimental intervention is“large class”(58 students and more),class size only has a significant positive intervention effect on students’“perseverance”and“creative thinking”.
