Flying a helicopter over the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is extremely difficult.The first group of young Tibetans in a helicopter-pilot program obtained their commercial helicopter-pilot licenses after extensive training.Jianreyixi,a native of Damxung County,in Lhasa,capital of Southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region,was one of the recipients.She liked to make and fly paper planes on the prairie when she was a child.She never thought,though,she would grow up to become a pilot.
