From Maps, Beyond Maps: Practical Exploration on the Drawing of Learning Historical Maps

绘制学习型历史地图是高校历史学专业学生的技能之一,它有助于深化时空观念,把文本知识浓缩在地图上。笔者在高校世界史课程的教学中,制订了学习型历史地图绘制的简易流程,分组、分专题进行,同时辅之以课堂讨论和撰写相关报告或论文等方式,收到了较好的教学效果。学生不仅掌握了绘制地图的基本规范,而且能综合性地看待人类历史与自然环境的关系,深入理解历史问题。

Drawing a learning historical map is one of the skills of history majors in colleges,which helps deepening the notion of time and space and condensing textual knowledge on a map.Based on the teaching of world history in colleges,the authors develop a simple procedure of drawing a learning historical map,focusing on special topics and in groups.By this way,students not only master the basic norms of mapping,but also can comprehensively view the relationship between human history and natural environment,and have an in-depth understanding of historical issues.
