Objective To explore the clinical effect of early medium and low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation on dysphagia after acute stroke. Methods A total of 110 patients with dysphagia after stroke were randomly divided into combined group and control group, with 55 cases in each group. The combined group received the medium and low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with traditional rehabilitation training, and the control group received the traditional rehabilitation training. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the combined group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of Tengdao Yilang assessment-standard in both groups increased, and that in the combined group was higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The early medium and low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with traditional swallowing rehabilitation training can significantly improve the swallowing function in patients with acute stroke, and the clinical curative effect is definite.
