上世纪90年代初,许多欧洲领先的设计师们开始意识到,他们迫切希望能建立一个新的欧洲诒坛,让他们能够以同僚和朋友而非竞争对手的立场,相互分享关于包装设计、企业形象设计、购买点以及电子媒介的信息、想法和意见。就这样,一群志同道合的朋友们在1991年创立了欧洲品牌与包装设计协会(epda),并向独立设计师和专业设计机构开放。如今,epda已发展成为欧洲领先的品牌设计咨询协会,成员包括60多家设计公司和1,000多位欧洲品牌与包装设计方面的高素质专业人士。
In early 1990s,a number of Europe's leading designers identified a protound need for a new European forum for the sharing of information,ideas,and opinions about packaging,corporate identity,point-of-purchase,and the electronic media.They wanted to see other design professionals not as competitors but as colleagues and friends.Consequently,in 1991 a group of like-minded friends formed the epda,the European Brand and Packaging Design Association,which is open to independent designers as well as to professional design agencies.Since then,it has developed into Europe's leading association for brand design consultancies with more than 60 agencies and over 1,000 European professionals in brand&packaging design.
