大水井矿区位于杨子板块滇东台褶带,西为绿汁江断裂,东为小江断裂,紧邻普渡河断裂。矿区主要地层岩性为碳酸盐岩和基性火山岩,赋矿地层为二叠系地层,主要控矿岩石为辉绿岩。矿区成矿受地层、构造、岩性、气候条件、地形地貌等因素控制。

The Dashuijing mining area is located in the eastern Yunnan platform fold belt of the Yangzi plate.The west is the Lvzhijiang fault,the east is the Xiaojiang fault,and the Puduhe fault is next to it.The main lithology of the mining area is carbonate rocks and basic volcanic rocks.The ore-forming strata are Permian strata and the main ore-controlling rocks are diabases.The mineralization of the mining area is controlled by factors such as stratum,structure,lithology,climatic conditions,and topography.
