大数据视野下的数字人文与新闻史人物研究

Digital Humanities and Characters in the Journalism History from the Perspective of Big Data

本文基于大数据的视野,探讨利用数字人文范式进行新闻史人物研究,从而实现范式创新的可能性。研究认为,大数据条件下的数字人文方法在技术力量和数据资源的驱动下可以产生更精确、客观的结论,也可以提供跨学科的思维与视野,帮助研究者发现历史发展的规律。当下,数字人文介入新闻史人物研究的路径:1.推进史料数据化,构建人物数据库;2.利用大数据,进行新闻史人物社会网络分析。探索新闻人的行动轨迹与历史脉络,明晰人物在新闻场域中的社会互动关系。同时,实践数字人文的研究范式也面临技术、史料等困难。但研究者需要有更新范式方法的自觉,不断探索数字人文与新闻史人物研究结合的方式与路径,从而推动新闻史人物研究乃至新闻史研究的发展进步。

Based on the perspective of big data, this article explores the possibility of using digital humanities paradigm to research characters in the history of journalism, thereby realizing paradigm innovation. According to the research, the digital humanistic method in the circumstance of big data can generate more accurate and objective conclusions driven by technical forces and data resources. It can also provide interdisciplinary thinking and vision to help researchers discover the laws of historical development. At present, digital humanities are involved in the research of figures in the history of news in the following ways. 1. Promote the digitization of historical data and build a database of people;2. Use big data to analyze the social network of people in the history of news. Explore the trajectory and historical context of journalists, and clarify the social interaction of characters in the news field. At the same time, the practice of digital humanities research paradigm also faces difficulties such as technology and historical data. However, researchers need to have the consciousness of updating the paradigm method, and constantly explore the ways and paths of combining digital humanities with the study of news history figures, so as to promote the development of news history figures research and even the history of news research.
