As one of the latest academic research results,this artical reviews and "Huangdi Neijin" from the view of depression syndrome."Huangdi Neijin",as the earliest classical work of TCM,proposed the etiology,pathogenesis,syndrome,diagnosis and treatment of depression syndrome.It puts forward the points that diseases could be triggered by emotional factors and subsequent viscera dysfunction.The key of pathogenesis is disorder of Qi and its clinical manifestations are changeable and complex,which need emotional status assessment of the patients and non-pharmaceutical emotional therapy in the first place.Above all,"Huangdi Neijin" is a TCM monumental work of psychosomatic medicine.
