Survey on Ancient and Famous Tree Resources in Taihe County and Suggestions for Their Scientific Management and Conservation

古树是一种不可再生的自然和文化遗产,具有重要的科学、历史、生态和观赏价值,与人类历史文化的发展和自然界历史变迁紧密相关,是活着的历史见证。在生态文明建设新背景下,本文以太和县古树名木保护为例,对古树名木的作用、科学管护措施、保护原则、任务及科学管护的重点进行针对性分析和阐述,旨在为今后古树名木资源的保护和管理提供参考。

Ancient trees,as nonrenewable natural and cultural heritage with significant scientific,historic,ecological and ornamental values,are living historic evidence closely related to the development of human history and culture and historical changes in nature.In this paper,based on the new context of ecological civilization construction,a case study of conservation of ancient and famous trees in Taihe County was made with a targeted analysis and elaboration on the role,scientific management measures,conservation principles,tasks and priorities of ancient and famous trees so as to provide reference for conservation and management of ancient and famous tree resources in future.
