变译论的理论贡献和实践意义

Contributions of translation variation theory to translation studies and its practical meaning

黄忠廉教授匠心独具,在新旧世纪之交创立了变译论。变译论通古今中外翻译之变,成一家之言。文章从理论创新、话语体系创新和方法论创新等三方面评述了变译论对我国、乃至世界译学的贡献;又从变译论回应现实需要、变译论来自实践、变译论指导实践等三方面说明其实践意义。变译论问世以来,我国翻译事业发生了巨变。总结和提炼"走出去"中的新思想、新做法既是回应现实,也是丰富和完善变译论的需要。文章期待立论创新,回应时代,具有中国话语特点的、理论联系实际的变译论升级版。

At the turn of the century the translation variation theory was advanced by Professor Huang Zhong-lian, based on his analysis and summary of different varieties of translation at home and abroad. The theory takes theoretical, methodological and discourse creations and has made contributions to Chinese and international translation studies. Coming from practice, it has the practical meaning in response to social realistic needs and guides translators in their translation practice. Since appearance of the translation variation theory China has made great changes and achievements in the cause of translation and many new and developing themes have arisen at the same time. Therefore, the author looks forward to a new revised addition reflecting new concerns in the discipline.
