《水浒传》重写女性之美,梁山泊好汉中有诸多保护女性的"护花"行为,对婚姻家庭持正面维护态度。小说中塑造了诸多正面女性形象,尤以九天玄女、李师师为梁山泊好汉之保护神或施助者,以天上人间一神一妓两位女性为梁山泊好汉之导师与救星,显见其本心绝无对女性的仇视与偏见,而是以女性厚德载物,"永恒之女性,引领水浒上升"。

Water Margin focuses on the beauty of women and maintains a positive attitude towards marriage and family. Many positive female images are created in the novel,especially the Nine-day Xuannu and Li Shi-shi as the protection gods or beneficiaries of Liangshan Po heroes. It is evident that his original intention is not hatred and prejudice against women,but to carry things with women’s virtues,and the eternal women lead this novel to a new height.
