摘要
标出性是文化研究中的一个重大问题,在艺术理论中更为重要。文化的标出性有两种构成方式:命名式,功能式,二者互相补充;艺术的标出性也有两种相应的方式:形式标出,题材标出,两种分类法在艺术文本中兼而有之,因此艺术是一种"双标出"的文化活动。艺术可以是标出性的异项艺术,也可以是非标出的正项艺术。艺术的标出性在艺术发展中意义重大,并呈现出一种历史性的变化。在当代,艺术的标出性增加,以至于文化标出性本身,就"自带"了一定的艺术价值。
Referentiality is an important concept in cultural studies,particularly in the theoretical studies of art.Cultural referentiality can be constructed either nominally or functionally,or both.Corresponding to this,referentiality of art may find expression in either form or content,or both.In this sense,art may be interpreted as an cultural activity featuring a"dual referentiality":it may be"abnormal"but with definite referentiality,or it may be"normal"but with no clear referentialality.Such knowledge of art may play a significant role in spurring the development of art and bringing about its historic change.In the contemporary world the referentiality of art has so increased that cultural refentiality itself has begot a certain"artistic value".
