Tracing the Great Wall of Qi

齐长城,恢弘气势犹如一条东方巨龙,以气吞山河之势盘旋于崇山峻岭间,被称为“长城之父”。它西起黄河,东至黄海,自济南孝里出发至青岛小珠山,迤逦泰沂山脉,是中国最古老的长城。在春秋战国时期,齐国为防御鲁、楚的进攻而修筑了这道“横跨泰山,绵地千里”的军事屏障。

The Great Wall of Qi,which starts from the Yellow River in the west and extends to the Yellow Sea in the east,goes from Xiaoli,Ji'nan city to Xiaozhu Mountain,winding along Tai and Yi mountains.It is the oldest Great Wall in China.During the Spring and Autumn period,the State of Qi built this military barrier that stretches thousands of miles across the Tai Mountain as a defence against the attack of the States of Lu and Chu.
